Apple Pie Sangria

Spruce up your Thanksgiving this year with a fun drink! The classic taste of apple cider gets amped up with a fun fun boozy twist. This drink is easy to make too so you won’t have to worry about spending a lot of time on it. You can even make it the day before. Just be sure to wait to cut up and add the apple slices. 

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 bottle of Pinot Grigio
  • 2 ½ cups of apple cider( we used the one from Trader Joe’s)
  • 2-4 apples( jazz or honey crisp are perfect)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To:

  1. In a large pitcher add wine, apple cider, and cinnamon.
  2. Next, whisk in brown sugar until dissolved.
  3. Cut 2-3 apples into bite size and add to pitcher.
  4. Use the remaining apples as a garnish for the glasses.
  5. Enjoy right away or place in the fridge to enjoy up to 24 hours later*.

 *Be sure to remember not at add the sliced apples to the sangria until you are ready to drink it because they will brown.

Optional Cinnamon Sugar Rim

On a small plate mix a ½ tablespoon of cinnamon and a tablespoon of sugar. Dip each glass into about 2 tablespoons of apple cider. Then dip them into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Once the rim is fully coated and the sangria.
