HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN PUREE
Using fresh pumpkin puree in a recipe instead of canned puree really steps up any dish.
- 1 Sugar Pie Pumpkin about 3lbs
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cut Pumpkin in half. Remove the stem and all the seeds.
Lay the two halves, skin side up, on a cookie sheet and drizzle olive oil over it.
Bake in the oven for about an hour or until fork tender.
