Let’s Start A Book Club!

It feels like every couple of months and every new year I tell myself I am going to read more. I buy books, start them and then stop or don’t even start at all. The books take up space on my nightstand, on the floor, and on my bookshelves.

My dear friend Cait(@creativecaitie) has that in common with me. Although she reads more than I do, we still are both accumulating books at an alarming rate. So we decided to turn a love of books into a book club.

Each month, we will alternate picking a book to read, discuss, and enjoy. For May, Cait’s birthday month, she picked “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus. This novel is about an intelligent woman and super feminist in the 50s and 60s. I look forward to reading this and picking the June installment of our book club.
