Thanksgiving Care Packages

Thanksgiving Care Packages

Thanksgiving Care Packages

It’s safe to say at this point we won’t be having a normal thanksgiving this year. Honestly, that sucks. Mike and I are planning(like the rest of the family) to get covid tests done early so we feel safer with the people we will be around.

Mike’s aunt normally hosts a lovely Thanksgiving celebration the Saturday before to but opted to make it a smaller zoom event this year. She asked everyone for any tips or ideas to make it more fun and I offered to help.

Without having to be super zoom savvy, I thought that care packages would be the best route and she agreed. And so I went to work putting together these special little gifts. I made them custom to each family by how many members would be there.

The USPS will give you FREE boxes for priority mail for a flat rate. I figured that would b e the best bet because I had no idea what these would weigh.

For a full look at these care packages, check out my Instagram story highlights.

To make them pretty I first put down some festive fall tissue paper. I filled the boxes with fall goodies that hopefully everyone will enjoy.

What’s Included:

Dollar Store Thanksgiving napkins

A homemade candle

Thanksgiving themed poppers with prizes inside

A bag of fall candy

2 game cards – Thanksgiving This or That and Thanksgiving Finish the Phrase

“I’m Thankful For” write on place mats

Turkey Ferrero Rochers

Apple Cider packets

For care packages going to families with children I added a little art project from the dollar store as well and some fun Thanksgiving glasses.

I hope that his family enjoys these and it makes the zoom a little more exciting.
