Toddler Friendly Holiday Movies
We love a good holiday movie, but for our three year old, we like to know that what he is watching. PJMasks is no longer a show we watch because it was prompting him to want to fight. He’s mostly a PBS kid. Although he mostly watches the same movies on repeat (Moana, Tangled and Cars) we complied a list of toddler friendly movies he can watch anytime.
The Nightmare Before Christmas – This is a good one but admittedly our son was hesitant and lost interest quickly.
Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas(the original cartoon) –
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas – Mickey and his friends tell holiday stories for everyone to enjoy.
Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas – If your toddler likes the Curious George show on PBS, they will really like this Christmas special.
Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town – Who doesn’t remember watching this as a kid? It’s a great holiday movie to watch together.
Frosty the Snowman – Chances are you’ve already been singing Frosty the Snowman in the car and around the house. Putting a face to the name is a great way to start holiday fun.
A Charlie Brown Christmas – This is a fun classic the whole family can enjoy.
The Polar Express – We’ve read the book 100 times so to see it come to life is holiday magic. Our son loves trains and is just starting to understand the whole Santa thing(check out our Instagram for our first year with the Elf on the Shelf) so this is a win for us.
Arthur Christmas – We recently stubbled upon this movie by accident and are glad we did. It has a great blend of heart, action and holiday spirit.
A Muppet Christmas Carol – This classic story never gets old. Add Kermit the frog and Michael Caine and you have a musical wonder.
