Garlic and Herb Seared Salmon

Our household favorite salmon recipe is here and its delicious. You'll want to make it too!

Ingredients

  • 4 approximately 4-7 ounces each salmon filets, without skin
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice divided
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 gloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
  • Half a lemon cut into slices
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Pat salmon filets dry with a paper towel.
  • Season with salt and pepper and drizzle 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice onto the salmon.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add salmon, pressing down on it lightly to sear. About 3-4 minutes or until crispy and golden.
  • Flip and sear the other side on the salmon for about 2 minutes.
  • Add butter, garlic, 3 tablespoons parsley, remaining lemon juice and lemon slices.
  • Cook an additional 1-2 minutes or until salmon reaches your desired doneness (we make sure the temperature inside is about 137 degrees).
  • Garnish with remaining parsley and cooked lemon slices. Drizzle sauce on the salmon and enjoy immediately.
